Florida Stats Wins Two to Open NCAA Championship
GULF SHORES, Ala. – The Florida State Beach Volleyball team (31-1) pulled off the biggest comeback on day one of competition at the 2016 NCAA Beach Volleyball Championships as the top-seeded Seminoles stormed back from a 2-0 deficit to beat fifth-seeded Hawaii, 3-2, to advance to Saturday’s national semifinals on Gulf Shores Beach. After defeating Stetson 3-0 in the opener, the Noles need to just one more win to advance to the title match.

Six CCSA Teams In First DiG Magazine Top-20 Poll
MACON, Ga. – DiG Beach Volleyball Magazine released its first Women’s Collegiate Beach Volleyball Poll of the 2016 season and six of eight Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) beach teams were represented among the top-20. That marks the most of any conference heading into the 2016 beach season.

CCSA Rebrands With Beach Volleyball Expansion
MACON, Ga. - The Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association, a Division I conference member of the NCAA, announced its decision today to rebrand as the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA). The move corresponds with the addition of beach volleyball as a conference sport. The CCSA also announced a new Executive Director in Mike Hagen.
